We are currently seeking an individual to perform the following job duties for one of our largest clients in the Banking/Financials industry:
Overall responsibilities include:


.Architect, Development, and Support of new J2EE Java software to specification
.Develop and Support Tibco EMS framework.
.Design of new software components and services.
.Writing technical code documentation
.Maintenance of existing base of software, including the implementation of fixes and enhancements
.Second-line support existing applications (i.e. escalation from support to development team)
.Test Systems (e.g. unit, system, integration, stress, regression, migration)

Functional Responsibilities:
.Offer expert Java/J2EE working knowledge to large team of client and server side developers.
.Work with business analysts to understand user requirements and develop technical solutions.
.Prepare technical code and support documentation for the delivered application components.
.Mentor / cross-train other team members
.Adhere to set coding standards, procedures and techniques.
.Work with other IT groups to configure, implement and support production.
.Involved in full software development lifecycle project (SDLC) activities
.Gain understanding of Credit Suisse's loans trading/origination/securitization businesses.
.Work effectively with team member in other locations situated globally.
.May require travel occasionally. Will require travel to NY for training purpose (4-6 weeks).
.Detailed unit testing (as specified in the design phase), component and acceptance testing to ensure successful release to production

.Investigating and resolving defects

SKILLS:
Required Skills:

Java J2EE 1.4 and above (7+ Years)
Proficient with BEA Weblogic 8.1 and like containers.
Web Services (SOAP, XML, WSDL)


Proficient with JDBC / JNDI
Effective analysis of new and existing applications and platforms
Efficient Coding (i.e. adhering to coding standards, procedures, techniques and performance tuning)

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
