Java J2EE Developer

Java J2EE Developer with Websphere in South Florida or Denver:

Responsible for developing new software solutions, customizing and configuring existing off the shelf package solutions as part of the Delivery team. This role will require working with end users and the third party providers, with activities pertaining to the on-going maintenance and enhancement of applications particular to a specific hardware and/or software platform. This position requires a understanding and ability to execute complex multi-discipline solutions, across both business units and vertical groups.

Must have strong knowlege of Portal Technology Deployment, application servers Technologies, varied Web server installation & configuration approaches, Web server analysis tools & techniques, experience in Database Selection, Setup, Installation, Configuration & Support, Detailed understanding of Programming Languages & Software Development Methodologies & Architecture, Operating Systems Selection, Setup, Installation, Configuration & Support, Development Environments Configuration.

J2EE Certification (Sun Microsystems, etc) is required Experience:Three (3) to five (5) years experience management consulting, three (3) to five (5) years experience with major package application implementation, and five (5) to ten (10) years in a software development environment. Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following E-commerce technologies is required. WebSphere Portal Server, WebSphere Commerce Server, WebSphere Application Server, Tivoli Access Manager (inc. WebSeal), WebSphere Content Manager, Rational Software Architect (RSA), Rational Application Developer (RAD), Rational Build Forge, Human Factors Engineer, Portals and Database Design.
