Description
Responsibilities
o Design and implementation of J2EE-based application code using Struts framework with the JBoss application server
o Develop code according to design specifications while meeting tight deadlines
o Troubleshoot and fix defects
o Communicate design and implementation issues and options with management
o Work effectively and cohesively with team members
Requirements
o Produces clean and accurate code, according to set coding conventions and objectives
o 1 year SQL experience with any leading RDBMS
o Experience in both Windows and Linux environments
o Bachelor's degree required
o Excellent problem solving and communication skills
o Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
o Good knowledge of JBoss application server and exposure to an iterative development process
o Knowledge of Flash Action Script, E-commerce and ASP.Net strongly preferred.
o Experience with Enterprise Content Management Systems is a plus
o 3+ years of Java/J2EE web dev experience in a commercial development environment using servlets, JSPs, JDBC.
o 1 year with web development languages (HTML, JavaScript, XHTML, CCS)
o Experience with XML, XSLT, Ant
o Strong object-oriented experience.
