A Global Investment Bank located in Jersey City, New Jerseyhas an immediate Full Time opportunity for an experienced Java/Middleware Developer.

Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications in the Front Office environment. Software developers design, code, test, debug and document programs. Associates work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications. Associates are expected to have in-depth capital markets product knowledge (credit derivatives), and manage a high level of risk. Associates typically have in-depth knowledge of development tools and languages. Is clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. Requirements: Strong analytic thinking, hard working. Teamplayer Solid Object Orientated design skills At least 5 years Java development experience Strong Middle Ware application development WebLogic a plus J2EE and multithreaded programming. Knowledge ofJava-based reporting package(s). Knowledge of PSQL and Oracle Database. Exposure to finance and credit derivatives in particular JDBC Experience UI Experience
