Description

We are looking for an outstanding person to fill our Java Programmer/Analyst position at our Corporate Headquarters in North Scottsdale.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and support web-based (J2EE) and desktop applications and accompanying Microsoft SQL Server 2000 databases in a Windows and Linux environment
Work closely with internal customers and members of the Networking, Analysis, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure the highest quality software
Produce detailed project estimates and technical specs, perform unit tests, and mentor junior developers

Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2-3 years programming experience using Java, J2EE (including JSP, Servlets, and EJB), Swing, JDBC and SQL, Struts, Design Patterns, XML, Ant
Excellent analytic and Object-Oriented Design skills
Sun Certified Java Programmer on 1.4 or later
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Sun Certified Java Developer
Sockets programming
JavaServer Faces, AS/400 and WebLogic 8.1 Experience
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Salary is dependent on experience. Benefits are available after 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to local candidates. No relocation assistance is available.
