We are currently seeking to fill a Java Programmer position for our client in Deerfield, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.

Overview:
This is a full time position with the option of contract-to-hire. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, very enthusiastic about building skill set in new technology, and has the ability to easily grasp and adapt to new ideas, concepts, methods and technologies.

Qualifications:
- Analytical and problem solving skills and team player/leadership qualities
- Strong Written and Verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a sense of urgency; drives work to completion; problem ownership.
- Knowledge of technologies such as SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Web Services
- Experience in Design, Development and Implementation of Web based applications using J2EE Technologies (Java, Servlets, JSP, EJB, Web-Services, JDBC, JavaScript, Java Beans, XML technologies, and MVC Design Patterns)
- Experience in software lifecycle including Requirement Analysis; System Design; Program Coding and Unit Testing; System and Integration Testing; Implementation and Support; Quality Assurance; Documentation; Presentation and Training.
- Experience in developing web applications using HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, XSD, Xpath JavaScript, JSP, Java Servlets, EJB, JavaBeans, Web-services, JDBC, and .NET.
- Experience with Web and Application servers which include SAP Web Application Server 6.41
- Experience in working with unit testing frameworks like JUnit
- Experience in developing Custom Tag libraries for JSP Pages
- Experience in various IDEs such as NetWeaver Developer Studio, Eclipse, and Visual Studio
- Experience in various Configuration Management Tools like DTR (Design Time Repository), CVS, and Visual SourceSafe
- Database skills =E2=80=93 SQLs, tables
- Experience working with frameworks such as Information Bridge Framework and CAF (Composite Application Framework)

Also required is 1 to 2 years with each of the following:
