Description
This is a strong, senior technical lead that thrives on leading teams of 6-10 developers within larger projects but still actively participates in design and likely still writes code. While initially the position will be leading J2EE-only development, upcoming projects will need broader web integration skills. The ideal candidate:

-Has worked on enterprise scale integration projects with Web Services and messaging and key tools of a modern web site such as portals and personalization engines.
-Shows potential for growth into either project management or technical architecture.
-Has experience managing small J2EE/web projects or sub-projects.
-Drives for results, shows initiative, communicates persuasively and coaches staff.
-Has a good technical process background (CMM, agile methods) and a commitment to Software Engineering and Project Management best practices.
-10+ years in the information technology field
-Excellent communication skills
-5+ years hands on architect, modeling and design of large distributed systems
-OOP (Object Oriented Design Principles and Techniques, J2EE/java Design Patterns and best practices, Web Logic or Web Sphere
-Oracle, Unix, MQ, JMS, JDBC, EJB, Struts, TogetherJ, Visio, JBuilder, MS Project
