Description

We are looking for a candidate who can take a lead role in designing, developing, testing and deploying complex Java Webdynpro applications while directing more junior level staff located onsite or offshore.

We are looking for a person who has worked with multi-user operating systems, specifically SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Enterprise Portal.

The complexity of the applications=E2=80=99 GUI will range from simple maintenance screens to complex drill-downs, menus and exports to EXCEL spreadsheets and PDF documents. Therefore, solid experience in coding to achieve this level of complexity is desired.

We expect this person to be able to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal supervision and under the directives of the system architect and project manager. We expect this person to work around the challenges and setbacks that come with every project, and deliver the results on time. Therefore we are looking for a candidate who has a high level of confidence, maturity, commitment, and who has demonstrated the drive to achieve and succeed, in previous jobs.

We expect this person to keep up with changing technology and one who can demonstrate the resourcefulness to learn whatever is needed to get the job done. We are looking for a candidate who has a high level of intelligence, creativity, and adaptability.

English is the standard language used at the World Bank headquarters. All users, functional, technical and system documentation is written in English. Therefore, we expect that this person can write and speak English effectively.

Experience/Skills
We are looking for an individual with strong expertise in the following required core competencies:


SAP Java Webdynpro, strong JSP skills

ABAP Dynpro (highly desirable)

Extensive experience in building user interfaces and/or GUI design

SAP BW and SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) integration

Understanding of SAP BW data warehouse concepts and architecture

Exposure to Data Warehouse technologies (Oracle, MS SQLserver, Cognos, etc)

Strong database design and data modeling

Additional consideration will be given to those individuals who possess the following specific competencies (in no specific order):

OLAP

Crystal Reports XI or other reporting tools

Busines Objects XI release 2

SAP .Net connector

SAP BW 7.0 tools

SAP KM repository integration to SAP EP
