Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Java/Swing Developer to join our team in the Consulting Solutions Group.

Job Responsibilities:
* Developing software that conforms to a design model within its constraints
* Validating the implementation for conformance to the design
* Developing and executing unit test programs to ensure proper functionality and error handling
* Participating in creating design documents
* Preparing documentation for source code, unit test plans, requirements reviews, and implementation feedback as required
* Participating in the evaluation of software development tools
* Evaluating and using third-party class libraries
* Participating in the creation of design documents
* Participating in design and code reviews
* Participating in GUI design reviews with the customer
* Reviewing requirements documents
* Applying established development standards and coding style guidelines
* Working in compliance with configuration management rules and guidelines
* Communicating the status of development progress

Required Skills:

  • Java/J2EE
  • At least one project through the entire project life-cycle into production deployment
  • Minimum of one year of experience with the Java Swing and at least two of the following Java technologies and one of the following development environments


Minimum Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree


*This role will require 50% Travel
