Description
We are currently searching for a Java Swing Software Engineer to help in the growth and development of our client's Network Operations related product that is already in use today by several major corporations.

As a member of the company's engineering team you will report to the Director of Software Development, but work under the direct guidance of a JAVA development Architect. You will be working on designing and developing thick/thin clients based on JAVA Swing and Web based technologies for our OSS -related software product.

You will be part of the UI team working on Swing and Web based client design responsible for:
. Developing and documenting the design
. Prototyping screens for the approval of Product Management Team
. Participating in the iterative development of this sub-system throughout the product life cycle

Experience/Skills
Requirements: . 5+ years (more junior will also be considered)of proven experience in developing applications using . JAVA, AWT, Swing, J2EE, Servlet, and Struts/JSP/JSF technologies . Experience with developing stand-alone Swing based client/server applications . Experience with Web Application Servers (Tomcat, JBoss) . Experience with a development environment based on open source . Experience in various OS like Linux, UNIX, NT and Mac OS . Excellent oral and written communication skills . OSS area and specifically workflow/web development experience is a plus
