CCCi has an opportunity for a Java Systems Engineer to work with our large local Energy client in the Cincinnati area. This is not a Java developer role, but the candidates do need to know how to install Java applications in an UNIX environment. Candidate will work on the OMS (Outage Management System) project. This is a software package from Oracle. The successful candidate will be setting up various environments for the project such as development, test, QA and production. This includes installation and configuration of UNIX applications and WebSphere deployment of Java applications.
6-9 years of experience required with UNIX, Oracle 10g, Java, JBoss and WebSphere. A good understanding of Java fundamentals is a plus. The candidate must have good communication and documentation skills and be able to work independently and quickly pick up on what needs to be done. The candidate must be able to work on multiple streams of work at the same time.
