Description
We need a candidate who is good at Java/UNIX/SHELL and Sybase is preferred. But candidate needs to be strong at RDBMS.Contractors will join team of 2-5 developers and report to a Principal Software Engineer. They will be given JAVA functions or programs to develop from high-level specifications. Each function is estimated to require between 3 - 15 days to program. The contractor will be expected to develop the function or program and then unit test the component. The assignment may require the contractor to manually create test data in a Sybase database. Therefore, an understanding of relational databases and SQL is imperative.
