Description
Our client has a dynamic, exciting shop, and ongoing, regular needs for long term contracted Java Developers

Required:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 8 years software development experience including at least 4 years experience coordinating large-scale software development teams.

At least 2 years Websphere Studio Application Developer v 4 and above.

At least 8 years of Java Coding Experience including at least 4 years Java Servlet Coding experience.

At least 4 years of XML, JSP, EJB, DHTML, CSS, SQL Server, JavaScript coding experience.

At least 8 years of HTML Coding Experience.

At least 4 years experience with JDBC.

At least 4 years experience with LDAP.

Must have excellent communication skills.

At least 4 years analysis, design and architecture of medium to large web applications.

Expertise mentoring in Internet Application development and design techniques.

Systems software development experience, including broad exposure to the software development lifecycle. Experience in analysis, design, solution development and evaluation of alternatives.

Experience coordinating all aspects of the software development lifecycle and workflow, estimation and target date planning, work plan development and monitoring, stakeholder communication, quality assurance, development methods/techniques, testing methods/techniques and implementation planning and execution.

Experience establishing, maintaining, and supporting through on-call an appropriate technical development environment for Internet Applications.

Experience coordinating production support activities of a team, with focus on timely and accurate resolution of issues.

Preferred:

Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Experience with Application Server technologies including, but not limited to: Apache Tomcat, BEA Weblogic, IronFlare Orion, Novell Extend, and IBM Websphere.

Experience managing projects with a project management tool such as Microsoft Project or Clarity (formerly known as NIKU Workbench).

Experience with Linux distributions including, but not limited to: SUSE and Red Hat.


Experience with Digital Certificates/Signatures.

Experience with Nebraska State Government.

Experience with Windows 2000 Advanced Server.

Knowledge of ebXML.

Experience with FTP to and from Mainframe.

Working knowledge of the following tools: Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, Clarity, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Eclipse, Novell Extend, and WS FTP.
