Description
RiverPoint Group has an immediate need for a JavaScript Developer with Web Services experience. This is a 1 year contract with right to hire with direct client.

Description of Services:
This individual will be responsible for coding interface components that will be used by most of the web applications developed at client. A new version of this library will give internally developed web applications the advantage of rich features to greatly enhance the user experience. In addition to web applications these components will be used by Portal interfaces. There are literally hundreds of applications using this component library that have thousands of users. The web interfaces for these systems will require many features to develop an intelligent interface that provides a rich user experience. This component library is a mission critical piece of the infrastructure. The applicant must be proficient in JavaScript and have a good background in web graphical user interface development.

Required Skills/Experience:
. 5+ years of coding experience
. 3+ years of JavaScript
. Expert in writing, debugging, and maintaining cross browser object oriented JavaScript
. Aware of differences in web browsers like Firefox/Netscape and IE
. Experience with JavaScript libraries such as Prototype and Scriptaculous
. Experience in using Web Services
. Experience in coding AJAX, XML, XSLT, XHTML, CSS, Flash, ActionScript
. Good verbal and written communication skills. Desirable skills include:
. Knowledge of CGI programming using languages such as Perl or PHP
. Working knowledge of Java and Cold Fusion
. Experience using JavaScript debugging tools
. US Citizen, Green Card Holder or close to EAD Status
. Non smokers, please - client policy
