Position: Jr. to Mid level Java Developer
Location: Staten Island, NY 10301 (there is periodic travel to clients as specified in the job requirements)
6 Month contract to hire

Scope of work
Jr.- Mid-Level Java Developer

1) Looking for someone who will work 100% of time developing applications but with periodic customer interaction to capture requirements and/or deploy solutions. (travel to client site).
2) 3+ Developing software applications.
3) 3+ years experience developing with Java required.
4) 2+ years experience developing with J2EE required.
5) SQL experience
6) Good Communication and Documentation skills

Specific skills
Eclipse(or similar)

Helpful
JDBC, Struts, JNDI, XML
WebSphere 5 or 6
DB2 7,8 or 9
Java Swing experience
Java Certification
Linux, Shell scripting
