xScion Solutions, LLC is a rapidly-growing, woman-owned Information Technology professional services firm supporting commercial clientele in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We focus on building successful technology-based solutions to solve our clients business challenges through a variety of service offerings.

Currently we are a Data Analyst to join a small team in Bethesda, MD. The successful candidate will be joining a team comprised of client employees as well as other xScion Consultants.

Working in conjunction with our client, a large Data Warehouse has been developed to support a significant application portfolio. Two new data sources have been identified and the data from these sources needs to be mapped against the Data Warehouse to determine if new fields need to be implemented.

These data sources reside on a variety of platforms although Oracle is the most common. Much of the data will have been extracted to a comma delimited format by the ETL team but experience with SQL, Access and Excel is necessary.

Once the data has been mapped and the new fields have been implemented, verification of the data via file comparisons and other means will be necessary.

Successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, IT or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Three or more years of work experience is preferred. Secondary mortgage banking and data warehousing business knowledge is desired. Successful candidate must have exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities, and an understanding of technical operations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential to the position. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required. Overtime required as needed to meet periodic deadlines.

Candidates MUST BE LOCAL to the Washington, DC metropolitan area and have work authorization.
