Description
Ajilon Consulting is seeking a full time Data Manager for our client in the Philadelphia area. This position is more junior level and involves SQL and UNIX. Greencards or US Citizens are REQUIRED for this position.

The Data Manager is responsible for the hands-on technical management of customized clinical information databases for our hospital clients. This includes working with department team members and other internal stakeholders to seek ways to improve and maintain our data management processes, and enhance client relationships and communications. The Data Manager is also responsible for the assurance of data integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Daily responsibilities will include:

. Applies extensive technical expertise in data management tasks (SQL intensive). This includes: data loading, validations, converting data formats, building detailed queries for data extraction, and applying historical fixes when necessary.
. Provides hands-on data management to and maintenance of assigned customers through the entire data management and validation process.
. Troubleshoots and resolves client data issues
. Manages own project load and tracks own project progress on a continuous basis. Informs department Team Lead and Director when risk factors arise that could or will impact project deadlines.
. Provides technical advice and solutions to solve data processing problems and improve efficiency, and ensures top notch customer service from the information management group to internal and external stakeholders.
. Ensures continuous client satisfaction by processing data accurately and efficiently, and addressing any questions clients may have related to their data. Also takes pro-active measures to keep clients informed and updated on the status of their data as appropriate.
. Ensures data quality and integrity standards are maintained at all times.
. Reports all data issues or problems to Team Lead and Director, and assists in the investigation of these issues.
. Coordinates with the Team Lead in responding to all inquiries regarding the Care Science data asset posed by other entities in the company.

Experience/Skills
Requirements include:

1. A Bachelor's degree (BS, BA) required, Computer Science, Math, Information Technology or related discipline
2. Three to five years analyzing relational data; a working knowledge of clinical information and/or statistics; knowledge of information technology and research methodologies. Experience with relational databases (Oracle) is required. Experience with SQL and UNIX are also required.
