Irvine Technology has an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or Jr or Jr. Database Developer to join a large and reputable Orange County institution.

JR Database Developer
Orange County California
25 to 27 an Hour to start.

This associate position involves the maintenance and support of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools. This will include database SQL work,editing Crystal reports, HP Quality Center customization and scripting in VB. Provides technical assistance regarding tools and processes to dev and test teams. Demonstrations, training, documentation and managing porting teams into the tool and upgrading them.

Requirements for the position include:

Computer Science or equivalent Bachelors (not Masters degree) with programming experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of software programming concepts and practices.

Demonstrated knowledge of project planning and task estimation.

Demonstrated knowledge of test planning, methodology's, and best practices.

Demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle process.

Demonstrated knowledge in the measurement of testing effectiveness and the design and development of metrics and reporting tools to analyze and produce reports regarding testing progress and effectiveness.

Demonstrated technical writing skills, including the ability to translate difficult technical concepts and information into readily understandable text.
