Description
Permanent U.S. residency required.
10%-20% short-duration, local travel with advanced notice- Work as part of a development team to develop Oracle forms, reports, packages, and queries within guidelines for delivery dates and quality.
- Maintain a working knowledge of standard software and hardware utilized in supported locations.
- Participate independently and with other resources in the full system development lifecycle, including testing, debugging and documentation of new or upgraded application functionality.
- Participate in problem resolution activities, adhering to a rotating on-call 24x7 systems support schedule.
- Ensure that best practices and company standards are followed in the system development lifecycle as dictated by company policy and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
- Develop documentation that sufficiently describes the technical deliverable as required for internal controls, and so that maintenance responsibility can be passed on to others in the production support team.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with management, team members, subject matter experts and end-users.
- Maintain a safe work environment in the performance of all job responsibilities.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of three years work experience as a developer in an Oracle Applications (eBusiness Suite) project or support environment.

- Oracle PL/SQL
- Oracle Developer 2000 (Forms / Reports )
- Exposure to or working knowledge of the following a plus:
- Oracle DBMS
- Oracle 11i Order Management, Financial, and/or Manufacturing Modules
- Oracle Workflow Builder
- Oracle Designer
- Oracle Applications Framework
- Oracle Application APIs and AOL
- Discoverer reports / EUL creation
- UNIX Shell Scripting and file transfer tools
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications related to Oracle Applications technology.
- Demonstrated initiative and innovation, and ability to manage competing priorities, varying workload yet still achieve results.
- Possess strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Possess good verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English with management and other technical resources.
