ERP Analyst

Location: Duluth, GA

Salary?Bonus based on company performance and is typically 10%;

Open to both contract to hire and perm.

NOTE: Agility is an ERP system unique to the lumber and building materials industry so it will be tough to find someone with Agility experience. Ideal candidate will have experience supporting mid tier accounting business systems example: Nuvision. They are not looking for a particular program as long as it is a business accounting program - but prefer it be MS based. Manager wants someone who can take charge of a project and run with it.

Front end of ERP is MS based and the end environment is UNIX based. Agility is the core of the companys business and is mission critical all financial and sales transactions go through Agility; person needs to be willing to learn all aspects of the business. They want someone who can become a seasoned in-house consultant and can continue to explore best practices.

Additional Note: This person will be replacing an existing candidate so they could likely be walking into an uncomfortable situation for a brief period. The manager will be sure to brief the candidate on what is going on.


Required Skills:

Minimum one (1) or more years of work experience with any ERP system; prefer 3-5 years experience
Experience working in a UNIX environment preferred
A good working knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite, and a willingness to learn new systems
Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred; Minor in Accounting strongly desired;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize duties
Attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
Must have professional appearance and demeanor.
Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
Personable, articulate, and knowledgeable.
Ability to learn skills quickly with a mature and service oriented attitude.
Must be able to travel 25% of the time, on an as needed basis
Minimal overtime and weekend work required



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day system requests of our users:
o Create new user IDs, configure user profiles, reset passwords, and troubleshoot user permissions issue.
o Set up new item codes in Agility, maintain and change existing item codes, identify and gather necessary information from procurement team to ensure proper setup of item codes.
Develop and execute a systematic routine to evaluate and correct invalid or outdated data within Agility on a quarterly basis.
Support regular system updates/enhancements on a quarterly basis.
Assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation
Provide training for end users.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies consistent with the needs of a growing business.
Identify opportunities for Agility process improvements.
