Duration: 6+ Month Contract with potential to extend or going permanent

Location: West Suburbs of Chicago

Description:

This position is responsible for the configuration of the preproduction environment. They formed a group that is responsible for all preproduction environment and support of system that revolves around billing systems. They want someone with exposure to Oracle.

After the Unix and Oracle teams have installed and prepared the various servers, this position will be responsible for pulling data from various sources and configuring the server prior to it being released to the development teams.

They are centralizing their preproduction environments. Wanted to give the environment more visibility. They formed a group that is responsible for all preproduction environment and support of system that revolves around billing systems. They want someone with exposure to Oracle. More of an Oracle Applications AMDOCs DBA. DBA exposure that can be trained in AMDOCS. Looking for someone to configure, maintain, support environment of Preproduction environments. Load data from various sources and prepare the AMDOCs system prior to being released to the development teams. Someone Oracle and Unix administration experience. Someone whose entry level with Oracle Administrator about 1-2 years experience with interest in moving into the Application level with some shell scripting experience.
