Systems Integration & Development, an IT solutions provider located in Rockville, Maryland is currently seeking a Jr. Software Developer to participate in full life cycle development as part of a team in an enterprise environment. The successful candidate will have a solid degree in a related field and be willing to learn new technologies. This is a full time position located in Washington, D.C. Additional roles and responsibilities include: ? Implement innovative artificial intelligence solutions. ? Participate in the requirements definition process. ? Work closely with the architecture team to create the application design. ? Develop applications based on requirements and design. ? Participate in system integration and testing efforts. ? Perform maintenance and upgrades as necessary to ensure the application meets end-user needs. Experience: ? Bachelor?s degree in a related field and 1 year experience working in an enterprise software development environment. ? Master?s degree in a related field is preferred. Skills: ? Solid experience developing Java or Delphi applications in a MS Windows environment. ? Understanding of case-based and/or rule-based reasoning. ? Knowledge and experience working with the full software development process. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills. ? Must be organized and detail-oriented. ? Must have a team player attitude. ? Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
