GENERAL JOB FUNCTION:




TRASYS, Inc. is currently seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst/Developer –Java/J2EE for a Direct Hire position with
a Bloomington, IL client that supports the Insurance Industry




DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·


Develop WebSphere/J2EE Applications

·


Develop code that reflects Insurance companies Technical Architectrual standards

·


Work as a member of a development team consisting of 4-8 analysts, collaborating with other Java developers and working under a clients J2EE Analyst


·


Understand and support clients Project Methodology






MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:




Prior experience in Object Oriented Programming

Good experience with Java development

Prior experience with web development (HTML) or database (SQL)

Prior exposure to formal test methods and project methodology, e.x. waterfall

Unified Process or Agile

Recent experience in model-driven development (building, analyzing, desinging, and deploying models)

Recent experience with J2EE/OO concepts

Prior experience deploying J2EE applications in Unix or Z/OS platforms

Presentation and User Task Logic TEchnologies (JSP, Servlets, Struts, JSF)

Business Integration Layer (EJB's, JDBC, JMS, JNDI)

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or I.T. related fields required
