Description
- For multiple projects:
- Develop new XML schemas for new XML services and modify existing XML schemas as needed
- Develop new HTML and XML specifications for new XML services and change existing HTML and XML specifications as needed
- Attend requirements sessions and evaluate potential impacts of the requirements to the system
- Attend integration design sessions with technical resources
- Attend data mapping sessions
- Review and understand GUI prototypes and service provider specifications to support requirements analysis and design
- Review front-end design specifications and evaulate the potential impacts to the system
- Develop XML service design specifications, including:
-- Create MS Word documents that contain the design summary information
-- Document and maintain the technical use cases that define how the system works
-- Document and maintain data mapping services (typically XML to COBOL data mapping)





Skill Set:

- 1-2 years experience designing GUI-based web applications

- 1 year experience participating in joint application design sessions

- 1 year experience designing XML-driven MQ service interfaces or web service interfaces

- 2 years experience creating HTML documentation or developing HTML pages

- 1 year experience creating UML use case models

- 1 year experience creating XML schemas

- Knowledge of MQ and WMQI is a plus

- Application development experience is a plus

- Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel

- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
