Description
An intermediate-level professional, the Systems Development Specialist is a fully qualified individual producer who applies a broad knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. Incumbents are competent to work on fairly complex assignments (and/or portions of larger, complex systems) and perform a full range of development activities. The incumbent generally works under deadlines and is capable of handling heavy workloads, and operating with only general supervision, although errors at this level can cause delay, expense and/or disruption. May provide occasional functional guidance to less experienced staff. Incumbents are responsible for the installation, development, implementation, and customization of hardware and software system elements.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate should have significant experience with the associated Common Languages (C# or Visual Basic), .NET Framework class libraries, Sharepoint, SQL Server 2000/2005, and Microsoft Content Management Server, all will enable the candidate to be a key contributor to our team. Specifically, the candidate accomplished track record should include:
  • Demonstrated success working on a small development team
  • Programming and enterprise development experience using web-based languages and technologies
  • Extensive working experience with UML design
  • Like to have MCSD.NET/MCAD.NET certification
  • Applicants must have solid experience and knowledge of relevant development software, specifically Visual Studio.NET
  • Experience and knowledge of databases using SQL2000/2005 and Oracle with the understanding of methods to integrate Web pages with these databases.
  • Specific skills required for this position include experience with: Sharepoint, Content Management Server, and Remedy.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft development, diagnostic tools, and architectures
  • Understanding of all phases of Web site structure, design and development.
  • Experience in testing and production delivery
  • Familiar with change control processes and procedures
  • Experienced in technical specification development
  • It is also mandatory to have a strong command of written and oral English, as communication skills are a must.df-tc
