Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Junior Application Developer to fill a full-time position with our team in Herndon, VA.

Job Responsibilities:
This individual will be part of a team responsible for supporting and enhancing business systems / applications. This includes providing applications analysis related to the day-to-day / production support, and new development for business applications running an expansive (across the nation) car rental business. This will involve troubleshooting and documenting issues related to existing applications, working with end users to analyze and implement functionality / add-on request, and conducting application testing prior to production release.

Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills so to understand business requirements and how they translate into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal / written communication skills.
  • Academic experience in programming and application development.
  • Exposure to software languages such as: C / C++, Java, etc.

    Desired Skills:
  • Co-op or Intern work experience in IT field

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
