This is a PERMANENT POSITION
OR it will be a contract for 3 months then go permanent

Position Title: Jr. Online Database Administrator

Pay Rate: $19/hr to $22/hr
Salary will be $35,000 to $38,000 per year if permanent

Qualifications:

MUST be able to travel to New Berlin, WI and work one of these schedules:
-- Sun-Wed - 4pm-3am
-- Sun-Wed - 10pm-9am
-- Mon-Thurs - 4pm-3am
-- Mon-Thurs - 10pm-9am
During training (about 2-3 months) will work 5 days/wk during standard business hours
Start Date: ASAP

1-3 years of experience in the technical requirements below REQUIRED:

UNIX experience - basic commands REQUIRED
Knowledge of Connex Environmental Database REQUIRED

Tandem familiarity is a plus (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
EFT background preferred (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A DBA OR SYSTEM MANAGER - THEY WOULD BE TOO SENIOR

Entry-level technician that focuses on first-level support and maintenance.
Perform weekly maintenance administration on databases including maintaining a schedule of database changes, audit data output for competition and maintain task detail of changes. Opportunity for advancement with 2 higher levels within the department.
