Description
Kaiser Permanente, parterning with Genesis10 Consulting, is seeking a desktop support consultant for a 3+ month contract in Redwood City, CA.

Qualified candidate will install and reinstall PCs in support of ergonomic retrofit of exam rooms. Approximately 6 stations per day. Candidate will provide Customer Service to Desktop Support, PC Hardware support, PC OS Support (Windows NT, Windows 2000), Printer Support. The project is currently in Implementation Phase with a team size of seven.

Candidate will take an intricate role in the support of project retrofitting exam rooms with ergonomic PC setups. Major outcomes desired include no damaged PC equipment during deinstall/reinstall, successful testing of PCs after reinstallation, proper tracking of all work performed, and positive feedback from customers. Top 5 daily responsibilities: Customer Service, Deinstall and Install PCs, provide QA (test) PC installation and Desktop Team workflow processes.
