CTi JUNIOR DEVELOPER - WEB ENVIRONMENT

Description: We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a Large Web Development Environment. Candidate should have the following experience or skills
Analyze requirements and design specifications to produce QA analysis documents
Design, document, implement, and execute test plans and scripts in accordance with core QA best practices
Identify issues encountered during testing, perform in depth analysis of tests and results, and document all functional or usability-related issues
Verify that Web site or web-based application meets functional requirements and conforms to user-centered design standards
Effectively prioritizes work, anticipates and proactively identifies problems, and develops and applies innovative solutions
Identify test process improvements, including recommendations on automated solutions
Help develop and document formal test processes and procedures
Be a team player; contribute to the team's overall effectiveness
Works closely with Project Managers, Federal Content Team Manager, Technical Team Lead Manager, Test Team Lead, and other Web team members to help develop and deliver custom applications.

Requirements: Candidate must have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or another technical discipline - Strong problem solving skills - Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Minimum two years experience supporting a Web development environment - Must have working knowledge of CM tools such as CVS, Source Safe - Must be able to troubleshoot, test - Ideal candidate will also have: Experience with Change Management Processes - Certification a Plus - US Citizen, Permanent Resident and or proper work Visa
2- 5 years of Software - QA Testing -

Must be able to replicate and troubleshoot and offer solutions to problems
Experience with user-centered analysis and design a plus
Experience as a developer a plus or familiar with development enviroment
Must be able to clearly communicate in a an extremely technical environment
Must have working experience with software version control tools
Work closely with Web developer and Content team members
Familiarity with Section 508 (accessibilty) rules for government Web sites/applications a plus
Experience with Change Control Processes including all problem reporting
Prepare reports for QA Testing status
Maintain process documentation and procedures
Maintain, implement, and track hardware and software testing issues
Control automated QA tools and associated databases
Develop Measures of Effectiveness for the QA process and participate in metrics review meetings
Participate in ongoing process improvement efforts
Working knowledge of QA Test standards. Work in support of developing QA Test standards
Formal training in QA Testing best practices as well as experience with System Development Lifecycle Process (SDLC)
Exposure and knowledge of Project Management Processes
Develop and implement QA Audit Plans
Experience with Change Control Boards.
Help to Maintain Source Code Archives for Web Development environment using CVS or Source Safe
Solid understanding of QA testing concepts and practices
Experience with Configuration Management software tools, process and procedures.
