Description
Provide technical support to the Temporary Alteration (TEMPALT) Program in the Submarine Configuration and Modernization Program Office of Naval Sea Systems Command. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical data packages, coordinating technical reviews, adjudicating comments, and preparing correspondence. Candidate must have strong organizational skills and knowledge of submarine systems and operations. The candidate will be required to interface and communicate with various NAVSEA codes, Planning Yards, Shipyards, Type Commanders and various other U.S. Navy field activities.

Specific Skills Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Basic knowledge of submarine systems, operations, and maintenance. Strong organizational skills.

Desired Skills: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. NAVSEA Headquarters, shipyard, or submarine fleet experience. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Fleet Modernization Program and SHIPMAIN process experience.

Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience.df-tc
