Description
Here is the information about the position:

Perform requirements gathering/analysis and software development for new technical solutions as directed by Project Lead.
Enhance, maintain, and debug existing web and windows client applications written in standard technologies employed by RCOG.
Develop and maintain application specific and utility SQL stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions in multiple RDBMS's.
Integrate analysis tools and Microsoft Office programs into existing and new programs using standard technologies employed by RCOG.
Perform high level technical support for applications written in-house and database issues according to technical support standards employed by RCOG.
Assist in building sophisticated reports using a variety of reporting tools against multiple RDBMS's.
Keep record of work completed using task management and version control software programs (Visual SourceSafe), standard document templates (Design documents, scope documents, etc).
Coordinate with other departments in the development of automated processes related to medical research and patient management.
These are the requirements:



Employee must have a Bachelor's degree in CIS, Computer Science, or related business degree.

Minimum 2-3 years solid professional experience in the following core areas:

ASP.NET, C#, or comparable languages, Core Internet technologies (HTML, XML, Javascript, etc.), Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft Access.
Structured Query Language (SQL); ability to create stored procedures, triggers, and views using various tools for Microsoft SQL Server (version 7.0 and later) and Sybase ASE (version 11.x and later) database systems.
Business and technical analysis skills. Must be able to quickly and accurately transfer business logic to code, and resolve technical/code issues promptly. Must possess demonstrated requirements gathering and debugging skills.
Competent in using Visual Studio or Visual Studio.NET development IDE's.
Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS.
Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, or other comparable reporting software. Must possess ability to create sophisticated reports.
