Description
Excellent organization in Santa Monica is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator that ensures the effective use of technology in the organization by managing, operating and maintaining the technology infrastructure. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be an organized self-starter, resourceful, work well under heavy pressure, and multi-task oriented. Responsibilities include overall day to day operation and maintenance of the organizations Information Systems. Maintain hardware systems and application software on all users' PC's, including new installations, version upgrades and patches. Maintain appropriate inventory of equipment and configured hard disks, employing disk imaging; maintain master image disks for standard application set. manage nightly system backups. Help test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiently, reliability, and compatibility within existing system. This position will also assist the IS Manager as well. Must have a good familiarity with Intel-based PC/Server hardware components and experience replacing components. MUST HAVE at least 3 years experience as a Jr. Systems Administrator or Systems Administrator AND 3 years experience with MS Server 2003, MS Exchange 2003, MS SQL2000, Active Directory, Windows XP, Office 2003/7 and Citrix Presentation Server.
