Description
Need 20 JSA with Data Center Move experience: (MCSE or CCNA Desirable)The Junior system Admin is responsible for basic system administration for the UNIX (HPUX, Solaris, AIX, Linux) and Wintel environments, including server sizing and procurement, requesting connectivity provisioning for DNS entries, IP addresses and SAN nodes, server racking, spares inventory, and base OS image placement onto HP, IBM and Sun equipment. Works closely with system administrators for both platforms, as well as power and space management teams, to provide a stable environment for said equipment and placing them in appropriate positions within griddled raised floor space. Provides basic cable management, and some hands and feet support for remote administrators. Works with customers a! nd project personnel, so strong customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication skills are a requirement.
