We are currently seeking a Jr. Tech Support to join our team. You will be responsible for providing computer-related support for the agency, carrying out second level customer support and basic computer support operations. You will be required to investigate, gather information, and resolve issues or escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution.

You should have a foundation of software support technical ability and show an aptitude towards this type of work as you will be expected to learn and carryout technical hardware and software application support, learn many new technologies, and be expected to quickly contribute to the enhancement of the department's problem resolution knowledge base.

What you do…
•Support of all second level IT related questions
•Provide direct support for desktops/laptops and user access to corporate network and applications both on the network as well as through remote VPN access
•Provide direct support for multifunction printer/copier/fax, phones, key-fob security system and A/V systems
•Assist with employee station moves, set up of new hire stations and configurations to company standards
•Assist all Desktop Analysts with user requirements as necessary
•Process orders and receiving shipments
•Assist with forecasting inventory requirements
•Maintain software and hardware asset inventory
•Other responsibilities as necessary

What you need…
•Working knowledge of Basic PC and Mac hardware with understanding of LAN/WAN environments
•Working knowledge of Windows XP and Mac OSX (Tiger and Leopard)
•Experience with Adobe CS3, Web Applications, VMware and Lotus Notes a plus
•Strong written and verbal communication skills required
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize with great initiative and can-do attitude
•Ability to grasp new technologies quickly
•Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 1-2 years experience
