Position Description:




The ideal candidate will be Reporting to development lead, work collaboratively with IMS and Regional teams to coordinate data element usage across projects for critical reporting requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:

-


Interface directly with end-users to identify reporting or analysis needs and develop business specifications for technical team


-


Function as a clinical expert providing content and subject matter expertise to the business and internal cross cutting teams.


-


Work collaboratively with the business to achieve reporting end goals for critical projects, programs and commitments.


-


Generate client business intelligence reports and build OLAP cubes with relevant data as requested and needed


-


Effectively manage the work assignments and priorities of matrix ensure effective delivery of projects and deliverables.




Required Competencies:

Requirements definition and analysis: collects and researches specific client requirements for projects, identifies requirements, gathers workflow data and basic system and reporting specifications. Develops, implements, and supports common business processes and tools. Recommends basic alternatives to address problems.

Project planning and execution: participates in project management process, including participating in project meetings. May document issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings. Performs a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations. Accomplishes all work within established methodologies, standards, budget and timelines

Business User/Owner Application Support: Provides 2nd and 3rd tier application support for assigned application(s). Monitors production batch and ad hoc jobs as required ensuring proper functioning and completion of business operations. Researches and resolves technical and functional issues according to defined prioritization/severity scheme. Influences client and gains commitment to changes required.

Communication: Professional and strong communication skills. Sends the right messages and information to appropriate audiences verbally and in writing; keeps people informed; adapts communication style to the needs of the audience

*Knowledge, experience and Use Case models and basic data modeling.
*BI Reporting experience

*Healthcare experience is highly desired

Healthcare Industry required

MS-Master of Science 4 years degree in health science or relevant area or an equivalent combination education and experience in public health, health care operations, or other related fields.

Minimum of 5-6 eight years of business analyst and management experience required.

Business Intelligence experience with Health Plan Systems minimum 3 years of experience; Membership, Pricing, Claims Systems; Care Delivery: Ancillary, Outpatient, and Inpatient Systems; Business Infrastructure: Human Resources, Finance Facilities and Corporate Services Systems highly preferred.

Demonstrated track record in providing people, financial, strategic leadership in a complex, large-sized IT businesses.

Experience in building use case models and data modeling.
