Position Description:




The ideal candidate will participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall corporate and business goals. Participates and/or Leads review and design concept work for new systems and develops and documents technical design for solution integration and implementation. Coordinates the development of comprehensive business cases with cost, service, and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as: new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment. Participates in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications. Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements and resource costs. Assists in developing solution alternatives from a multi-function RFP, including buy-vs.-build analyses.



Skills/Experience:

BS-Bachelor of Science required.
·


SDLC knowledge (ie.waterfall, or RAD)
·


SQL or Oracle experience.
·


Strong written and oral communication skills
·


Knowledge and understanding of enterprise architecture-Must have 5 years
·


Knowledge and understanding of software deployment in a large enterprise-Must have 5 years
·


Data design and analysis; knowledge of at least one major DB product (e.g., Oracle, SQL); knowledge of SQL-Must have 5 years
·


Knowledge of health care industry nice to have.
