Roles & Responsibilities


- The ideal candidate will provides IA input to clients, Communication Consultants, and Web Production Coordinator ***This person will be utilizing existing templates to create webpages. This is not for a coder.****

- Determines site's file naming, location, and structure with Web Production Coordinator. Creates folder structure, develop left navigation Library files, set up HTML pages, build pages (format content and layout, title tag consistency, insertion of metadata, page owners, feedback form, etc.).
- Works with Web Production Coordinator on graphic development and any look/feel requirements.
- Creates appropriate redirect pages. Leads QA process. Develops launch plan in conjunction with Web Production Coordinator and PM.
- Creates file inventory of all related pages (current and future) and review/discuss with Web Production Coordinator. Assesses all backend/architectural dependencies and links. Archives files that will be removed from site and document. Creates any needed redirects. Informs Web Production Coordinator about any issues and/or sections where a client needs to be alerted or contacted regarding changes
- Works with clients and/or Communications Consultant on content (not from a strategy standpoint, but rather from a presentation angle).
- Consults with Web Production Coordinator/Hub Webmaster on any Hub standards or guidelines that come into question during project. Keeps Web Production Coordinator/Hub Webmaster apprised of any issues that arise. Presents and discuss with Web Production Coordinator/Hub Webmaster any important decision points.
- Manages projects to a certain extent (based on the complexity and scope of individual projects)
- Attends PM project status meetings



Skills/Experience:



Top 3 skills in order of preference:
-Dreamweaver
-Adobe Photoshop
-Teamsite

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Interwoven TeamSite 6.5, Dreamweaver 8/Dreamweaver CS3, Javascript,
Ajax
(preferred), JSP forms (preferred), Microsoft Project (preferred)

Excellent project management experience (3+ years) for large/complex Web sites (250+ Web pages); able to coordinate and follow up with business partners/content owners to provide all the required content on time; able to work on multiple projects.

IA (information architecture), usability, and content gathering/management experience - able to work directly with business partners/content owners to develop intuitive IAs and Web pages that are consistent with our existing intranet style guide and design standards

Excellent communicator - leads and facilitates weekly project status meetings with business partners/content owners, Communication Consultants, and Web Production Coordinator/Hub Webmaster.

Attention to detail, organized, process-oriented, and thorough QA/testing practices
