Skills/Experience:



Minimum of 8-10 years of development and architecture experience and at least five years utilizing ETL in the high-level design and deployment of full lifecycle terabyte-sized data warehouses. Must have at least 4-5 years of Ab Initio architecture experience.

Design, implement, and develop ETL processes against high-volume and complex data sources

Extensive experience in estimating work efforts for complex projects

Experience defining infrastructure integration components of a data warehouse and ensuring reliability and recovery capabilities for developing complex data warehouse systems

Set and enforce ETL standards and architecture.

Deep technical expertise in performance tuning (Server level, Database level and program level)

Strong ETL and database technology skills: Ab Initio, Teradata, SQL
M/F, Oracle, DB2 experience desired

Demonstrated expertise in directing large-scale projects, including setting corporate strategy and ETL standards

Ability to manage, mentor, and develop ETL staff

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

BS degree (Computer Science concentration preferred) or equivalent experience required
Knowledge of health care industry desired.

Excellent facilitating, influencing and consultative skills; and the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues and opportunities

Accuracy and attention to detail.




Responsibilities:

Leading the Architecture, design and implementation of
ETL

framework

Building the ETL process to meet product/project specific requirements

Creating high performance and highly scalable ETL design architecture


·


Establishing and implementing ETL best practices and guidelines
creating a center of excellence around Ab Initio (best practices, standards, re-usability etc.)
