The ideal candidate will assist with our automation projects. This position will serve a support role for our testing organizations, and managed by the Quality Management Office. This is more than a QA Automation Tester. They must have written Automated Processes. They must have Architect level skills with QTP automation.

Experience with SOX and HIPAA requirements PREFERRED (as they pertain to the software development lifecycle.)

Familiar with the concepts and techniques of CMMI, ISO, and/or Six Sigma.

Mastery of Excel for data manipulations and analysis.

Experience working as a consultant, either internally or externally.

Familiar with software development best practices.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly establish trust-based working relationships with peers and senior managers.

Self-motivated, ability to take on projects and drive them to completion.

Ability to work effectively in a consensus-driven culture.

Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing to groups large and small.

Ability to facilitate small and medium size groups.



MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS
(Explicit tasks and experience must be on resume):
*Expert Experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
*Experience testing both Web-based and Client-Server Applications.
*Good Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, especially with respect to QA.
*Experience in creating and developing Test Plans, Test Procedures and Test Cases.
*Must be Proficient in Black Box Testing and Regression Testing.
*Must be experienced in both manual and automated testing using HP QTC, Quality *Center, Borland, Matador and other SOA testing suites, past experience with Mercury *Interactive tools like Load Runner, Quick Test Pro and Test Director.
*Adept in Backend Testing and Data Integrity Testing using SQL statements.
*Proficient in writing UNIX Shell Scripts.
*Familiarity with protocols namely TCP/IP, HTTP and FTP.
*Familiarity with Buffer Overflows, SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting.
