Position Description:




The ideal candidate will Manage the Vignette IDM infrastructure, test environments, MWI packaging and support of testing for code drops and Epic upgrades, monitor the health of the infrastructure. Plan, coordinate and implement upgrades. Develop a Disaster Recovery Infrastructure design and migration plan.
Manage the RightFax infrastructure, test environments, MWI packaging and support testing of new applications. Configure IDM, VIC and RightFax for new departments and call-in numbers.
Manage the facilities Vignette VIC servers, file systems, Poet database, configuration, scanning and commit scripts and install the Custom UI for indexing as necessary.
Manage the SCAL KRD database content, scan for errors, resubmit messages as necessary and notify SCAL HIMS on required rescans
Manage the CTBridge server and conversion of CA Claims Letters to PDF and ingestion into the IDM Repository.
Manage the Vignette Flow Manager Server and conversion of document images to thumbnails and ingestion of documents into the IDM Repository
Plan and deploy a backup strategy for the NAS resident disk sets
Respond to and resolve Incidents and Escalations.
Design and implement new IDM applications according to business requirements and specifications.
Work with the DBAs to implement new IDM application tables in the IDM meta database, resolve availability and performance issues and to maintain the health of the databases required for the IDM Repository applications.
Query the IDM and KRD databases to check and verify message status of committed documents, in-bound HL7 message processing, thumbnail creation, Flow Manager queues and work to remediate error conditions.
Interface with the vendors for resolving issues with current products, planning migrations for product upgrades and deploying new products in the Document Management space.

Must have Unix systems administration and Application administration on Unix experience.

Webservices and knowledge of how Java is packaged and deployed is required.

SQL is a must, but DB2 is preferred.

·


Must have experience on Windows platforms. Windows Clusters experience is preferred.


·


Experience in working with large scale applications such as Epic in the healthcare arena.

·


Must have Unix system administration skills, preferably on an AIX platform.

·


Must have WinTel system administration skills, experience with Microsoft Clusters is a plus.

·


Excellent problem resolution skills, excellent communications skills, ability to coordinate with multiple IT groups, ability to learn new technology quickly.

·


Project management / consulting experience is a plus
