KNOWLEDGE BASE ADMINISTRATOR My client is looking for a KBA with a fairly strong Technical Writing background & experience in handcoding HTML. Benefits are excellent and the working atmosphere is fun. KANA exp a huge plus also but really need someone who understands set up and processes. Will send right person out for KANA training.MAJOR FUNCTION: The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate, develop, update, manage and maintain knowledge base applications for (internal) agent and (external) customer use at the direction of and in conjunction with the senior director of interactive systems.QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* High school diploma or equivalent required. * Four-year college degree, work in progress toward a degree or equivalent work experience is required. Computer science, journalism or related degree preferred. * Excellent verbal & written communications skills required. * Excellent customer service/computer technology skills required. * Extensive knowledge of and previous experience writing HTML required. * Two years experience with commercial knowledge base management software required. * Experience with KANA IQ knowledge base software preferred. * Experience developing applications with C# and the .NET platform preferred. Experience with Java, JSP, Python, PHP, C, ASP or other programming languages a plus. * MCDBA, MCSD, MSAD, MCSE or equivalent certification a plus. * Previous experience in journalism and/or technical writing a plus.
