If you are a Web Engineer, Web Developer or LAMP Developer with at least five years of development experience, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of development experience in a commercial setting
- At least 5 years experience with PHP
- Ability to learn new technologies and integrate them effectively into the organization
- Large scale applications (greater than 1 million users)
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Experience with developing and maintaining highly available or fault-tolerant software systems across the full application life cycle
- Extensive knowledge of PHP, MYSQL, Linux, and Apache
- Extensive experience in a Unix environment
- Experience with Web Services/REST a plus
- Experience with Python a plus
- Experience with Memcache a big plus

What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications including development methods and standards
- Assist in the development of applications and systems using PHP, Symfony, Memcached, and MYSQL
- Assist in the design and development of the primary Web site
- Perform troubleshooting as required
- Optimization, tuning, replication, distribution, and normalization of the architectures
- Assist in the design and analysis of candidate applications and software solutions
- Testing, diagnosing, and fixing faults in all in-house and vendor software
- Document systems, applications, and methodologies
- Act as third tier support for resolution of production site issues
