Paragon is currently seeking a LAN Administrator with Exchange experience. Specific job duties and experience include: Troubleshoot issues for customer and test new equipment, Provide 24x7 on-call support, as needed. Install and configure servers, Select, install and maintain anti-virus software on Windows Servers, Perform disaster recovery duties including backup and restore of critical customer data, Provide MS Back Office system and LAN application administration and customer support, Administer/maintain back office system and LAN applications (e.g. Microsoft Exchange), Implement the rollout of new releases of server and client software, Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems and inquiries regarding supported software and hardware (both server and client-based), Test and maintain new releases of server and client software, Perform capacity planning and optimization of LAN/server equipment, Monitor systems performance to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions, Maintain statistics on system performance and availability

Job Requirements:
. 6+ years Software Engineering experience (Development, Support, System Administration, DBA)
. Proficiency in UNIX OS
. Proficiency in Relational Databases (ORACLE, Microsoft Access))
. Knowledge of some sort of scripting language (i.e., K-Shell, etc.)
. Proficiency in Exchange server architecture, administration, maintenance and support
. Strong working knowledge of, and experience with PC operating systems and general office applications
. Extensive hands-on expertise in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows servers
. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, SMTP
. Working knowledge of LAN infrastructure concepts, computer networks and telecommunications access
. Adept at critical thinking/logical/troubleshooting techniques
. Strong customer service skills
. Strong planning and organizational skills
. Strong interpersonal skills
. Project Management principles (planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling)
. Project Management experience
. Working knowledge of business processes
. Basic telecommunications and wireless industry knowledge (highly preferred)
. Cellular industry knowledge (highly preferred)
