Description
Position Description: Experience Level: Combination of education and work experience typically equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years technical project management experience. Description: Directs and monitors activities for medium-sized, low to medium risk technology-based projects, or pieces of larger projects, from initiation to delivery. Projects may cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines. Works with business partners to develop technology concepts, requirements, design alternatives, project schedules, and costs for new systems initiatives. Participates in planning and directing program schedules and budgets, monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses, significant issue tracking, and communication at the team level. May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups to re-engineer technical processes for!
greater efficiency. Work may be done under the direction of more senior technical project managers. Typically reports to a Technology Manager.

KEY: Responsible for end-to-end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end; must have the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization in a professional approach and demeanor. In 2008, this role will focus on defining and implementing post-LAN Migration controls and clean-up in which Active Directory knowledge/experience will be important. Very high possibility of this position extending thru 2009 with the role shifting to Project Managing LAN Migration efforts from beginning to end.

---Job Description--- This position will be responsible for driving assigned LAN Consolidation projects and related initiatives within the Deployment Services portion of the Client & Strategy Services group team of the Enterprise Field Operations organization. The position will be responsible for understanding deliverables and time lines for products and services that are required in the LAN/Desktop environment due to various drivers (risk, security, audit, productivity, etc.), will build the strategy and approach, and then make sure it is followed through. The position will provide direction to matrixed EFO and TIG resources based upon the needs of the activities. Responsible for understanding problems, bringing issues to resolution, and escalating as necessary to meet timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 7+ years of project management and/or similar/related work experience, with a focus on large, complex projects, is necessary to be successful in this position. Must have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Solid ability to work with all levels of the organization.; previous experience with migrations, processes and tools in a large, standardized LAN environment; knowledge of the WFDC LAN Architecture and Active Directory; previous experience with the WFDC LAN environment; Excellent reporting skills, both written and verbal, including ability to produce and present power point presentations to a diverse audience. Experience managing diverse project resources, with an eye for team work and leadership. Ability to level set expectations and drive for success.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
KEY TECHNICAL PROFICENCY - experience in working with LAN/Desktop environments and applicable dependencies. This is key to understanding potential impacts to the working environment that may be caused by deployment activities. Based upon potential impacts, knowledge must be substantial enough to recommend alternative solutions or courses of actions, or at a minimum understand what level of subject matter may be required to be engaged. Previous experience with the EFO Desktop Migration System and Symantec Client Migration tools helpful. Familiar with ExpressNet architecture & Wells Fargo technical standards, Wanda, PAC2000; understanding and use of STAMP, a PLUS!

PROVEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT - problem solving, budget, customer service, & written/verbal communication skills. Able to manage a diverse team to specific goals & objectives.

LEADERSHIP - ability to communicate at all levels of the organization in a professional approach and demeanor. This position will have interface with senior managers, internal customers, and support resources. Must be able to present thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner, and negotiate and influence direction.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE - understanding of impact of decisions and actions and what they can have on productivity, risk, and of budgetary considerations. This position will work on the most complex and critical deployment activities, that have a high potential of impact to the organization.
