Description
This position is an excellent opportunity to work for a world leader in the design and manufacturing of fiber-optic transmission and broadband switching. We have an immediate need for a Software Test Engineer to test LAN and SAN systems running over SONET in a UNIX environment. Will develop system test plans, test scripts, and full regression test suite for new features and product releases. You will setup the test environments, perform system tests including performance, feature testing, stress loading, user acceptance testing (UAT) and providing support for systems integration.

3+ years of testing LAN, SAN, and SONET systems in a UNIX environment is required. Experience with Data Communications, Telecom Transmission, SNMP, RPR, TCL and Expect Scripting is needed. Experience with OC-192 or OC-48 fiber optic lines is helpful. Must have excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic for this position.
