*Candidates must respond with the Tekmark job number, 57032 in the subject line* Lead Network Analyst (7 years +/-): POSITION PURPOSE: To provide leadership in designing, planning, monitoring, and maintaining the network and telecom infrastructure for the purpose of providing a highly reliable, secure, scalable and high performing environment to support web-based and client/server applications to internal and external users. DIMENSIONS: Extensive Cisco programming experience: Cisco routers (7200, 2600), switches (3750, 4000, 5500), Content Switches and Secure Content Accelerators (11000), Access Servers (AS5300), Cisco IOS Firewalls. Strong familiarity with protocols: IP, TCP, BGP, EIGRP, SNA, BiSync, PPTP, IPSEC Strong knowledge of WAN and Telecomm technologies and protocols; T1, T3, Frame Relay, circuit provisioning and inventory, telecom invoice reconciliation. Experience with: Solarwinds Orion, CiscoWorks, Sitescope, Argent Guardian, RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for network project lead: design, plan, project manage, document and implement. Responsible for maintaining high network availability, performance, security and scalability. Responsible for network monitoring, measurements and reporting. Responsible for Business Continuity Planning, documentation and testing. Responsible for the coordination of the company data communications network, terminal orders, cable installation, network system planning, monitoring, testing and servicing. Responsible for the evaluation and study of vendor products and making recommendations for the purchase and/or upgrade of data networks and telecommunication equipment. Responsible for ensuring security procedures are implemented and enforced. Responsible for installing all network software, hardware, and telecommunication equipment and providing on-going technical support. Responsible for establishing and implementing LAN, WAN, and/or Network policies, procedures, and standards and ensuring their compliance with information systems and company objectives. Responsible for troubleshooting network-related problems. Completes other tasks as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent will be required. Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirements. Job Related Experience: Typically requires seven years network communications, electronics or related experience. Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: A superior knowledge of communication networks, data transport protocols, and telephony. Strong project planning and project management skills Strong communication and documentation skills. The ability to work effectively with others to complete assigned projects.
