Description
The qualified candidate will be responsible for a multi-platform WAN/LAN implementation and must have experience in Cisco LAN implementations and be familar firewall technology. This individual must possess skills as a WAN/LAN Architect. Experience in the planning, design and implementation of complex networks as part of a large enterprise network is desired. You will also work with other sites to troubleshoot, identify, and solve technical problems in integrated network systems environments. Persons applying for this position should have a thorough understanding of OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, RIP v.1/v.2, and BGP protocols. Experience with Frame Relay and MPLS as well as dealing with multiple ISPs and carriers is desired. All candidates must have experience configuring and troubleshooting with Cisco family products (Cisco routers 1, Catalyst switches 6500/6000/4500/4000/3550/3524, VPN Concentrators, and PIX).
Candidates should also be knowledgeable with switched ethernet and VLAN technologies, 802.1d spanning tree. Cisco CallManager/Unity experience, QoS, CoS, policy based routing, traffic classification/marking is a plus.
