LINUX HPC CLUSTER ADMINISTRATOR (long term for Detroit, MI)
Duties:
Resident on-site person to perform system and cluster administration duties on a 100+ node Linux 1350 cluster in a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment)with a four hour response time for outgages).df-tc

Experience/Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
1. Two years experience installing, configuring, tuning and administration of Linux cluster platform, Operating system, and applications.
Products include: IBM 1350 Cluster
Red hat Linux
PBS Pro resource management software
as well as a number of the applications listed at the bottom: (see #3 below)

Candidate needs to understand how to organize, schedule and provision resources on the cluster within the context of IBM help desk and other associated processes and support engineering users in accordance with the 8 hour X 5 day/ week window within 4 hour response.

c) Cluster Subject Matter Expert
