An established and growing IT company providing data security and encryption solutions in the DC Metro area is looking for a Linux- Kernel Software Engineer to join our team.

What you need for this position:
* Security Clearance or ability to obtain security clearance-REQUIRED!

- Expert level UNIX/LINUX skills
- 3+ years development experience on operating system Kernel code such as memory management, UNIX device driver, Linux Internals, or network driver mechanics
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related field
- Extensive experience in designing and developing kernel/driver in a multi-processor environment
- Experience with Kernel debugger

What's GREAT to have:

_ Experience in pre or post sales engineering
- Internals experience across multiple UNIX platforms (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris, Linux)
- Familiarity with UNIX System Administration, Data Security, or Data Storage
- Cryptography, and encryption technologies
