Description
Our client is a large Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) consulting and outsourcing firm. Our client's Outsourcing Division specializes in managing IT organizations for Healthcare providers nationwide. This position is located at one of the outsourced client sites. These sites have very strong site teams in place including CIO-level, Application Managers, and Application Analysts working together with the client executive teams to implement new clinical/ financial systems and other technological solutions to meet the goals of the organization. Candidates must be located within commuting distance to the specific site or willing to relocate to the local area. The outsourcing site positions provide the challenge of working in a consulting environment combined with the benefit of working with a strong team of colleagues on site implementing new systems without the travel requirement.

This is an immediate opening for a HIS professional with experience implementing and supporting hospital blood bank/transfusion management information systems. The primary function of this position is to implement and maintain new McKesson Horizon Blood Bank application system (also knows as Wyndgate's SafeTrace Tx ) This position will work on site with the hospital's current LIS systems and new pathology implementation. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of experience in supporting blood bank and transfusion management systems as a System Analyst and possess the following qualifications:

. Experience with implementation and support for hospital blood bank/transfusion management information systems is required.
. Experience with McKesson Horizon Blood Bank or Wyndgate's SafeTrace Tx application systems is a plus
. Experience as a Laboratory analyst or a Laboratory Technician with operational experience in a Cerner/McKesson interfaced environment
. Project Leadership experience is a plus

Travel is NOT required. Relocation is REQUIRED.
